Daniel Johnston is an American writer and consultant to the international petroleum industry. He has done expert witness and consulting work for both governments and oil companies worldwide. He is most well known for his May 2006 publication of a report on the proposed Alaskan gas pipeline. At the time, he was under contract with the Alaskan State Legislature.
